FAQ

Collector & Bidding Mechanics

What networks are supported, and how do I connect?

O'Clark Auctions supports Bank Transfer Mainnet and the Sepolia Test Network. Connect your wallet using the top-right button, and ensure your active network matches the Sepolia network for testing. You can request test USD via public Sepolia faucets to place mock bids.

What happens to my cryptocurrency if I am outbid?

Our auction smart contract handles bids programmatically. When a new bid is placed, the contract instantly refunds the previous bidder's locked escrow amount back to their public wallet key in the same block transaction.

Creator & Artist Guidelines

What file parameters are supported during consignment?

We support static imagery (PNG, JPG, SVG) and dynamic animated loops (GIF) up to 50MB in size. Files are pinned directly to decentralized storage nodes (IPFS) to guarantee persistent accessibility.

How are secondary sales royalties calculated?

O'Clark Auctions implements the ERC2981 Multi-Royalty Standard. Artists can define secondary sale royalties (up to 10%) during the initial consign form. Secondary buyers' marketplaces read this standard, ensuring you receive on-chain payouts.

Platform & Wallet Troubleshooting

Why does my wallet reject the place bid signature?

This commonly occurs when:

  • You possess insufficient USD or Sepolia test USD to cover the bid plus gas fees.
  • Your browser wallet is locked or connected to a different active network chain.
  • The bid you submitted is lower than or equal to the current leading bid.

How long does it take for a transaction to be approved?

Transaction times depend on network congestion and gas fees. Usually, it takes between 15 seconds to 2 minutes on Bank Transfer. If you are uploading a deposit or kyc verification document, our team reviews it manually and will approve it within 24 hours.
