Web3 Service Scope
O'Clark Auctions provides a decentralized platform interface for bidding on, listing, and consignment digital items (collectively, "Artworks"). By connecting your wallet or interacting with our smart contracts, you enter into a binding agreement governed by these Terms and the cryptographic code of the blockchain.
1. Wallet Interaction & Custody
O'Clark Auctions is a non-custodial platform. We do not hold custody, manage, or take responsibility for your Artworks, cryptocurrency funds, or wallet private keys.
- You are solely responsible for keeping your wallet recovery seeds and keys secure.
- All contract executions, signatures, and payments (including Bank Transfer network gas fees) are executed directly via your client-side wallet interface.
2. Bidding, Auctions, & Finality
Bidding on O'Clark Auctions is governed by blockchain finality:
- Irrevocability: Once a bid transaction is confirmed on the network, it cannot be edited, cancelled, or refunded under any circumstances.
- Bidding Increments: Bids must exceed the current active bid by the designated minimum increment specified on the detail interface.
- Settlement: Winning bids are settled on-chain. Ownership of the Artwork is transferred immediately to the winner's wallet key upon contract execution.
3. Prohibited Marketplace Behavior
To maintain a fair, transparent marketplace standard, you agree not to engage in:
- Wash Trading & Self-Bidding: Placing bids on items you own or coordinate with others to list to artificially inflate volume or value records.
- Frontrunning / Spoofing: Utilizing customized automated bots to interrupt, frontrun, or spoof contract bids.
4. Disclaimers & Volatility Risks
The value of digital collectibles is subject to extreme market volatility. O'Clark Auctions does not provide financial advice, valuation guarantees, or investment brokerage. All items are listed "as-is", and interactions are conducted at the user's sole risk.
